Dear Mari,
Thank you for your email. The Royal College of Psychiatry does not give diplomas or degrees but instead is the body responsible for setting the standards of training for Psychiatrists in the UK.
In order to become a Psychiatrist in the UK you will need to register with the GMC and obtain a licence to practice medicine. Information on this can be found here: http://www.gmc-uk.org/.
In order to begin training as a consultant in psychiatry you would also have to gain specialist registration with the GM. To do this you will have to complete 6 years of specialist training in UK training schemes and gain a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
