Honorable chief Justice,

Greetings and respect,

Last night, sir, during your meeting, you discussed the issues and problems of the agency under your command. It felt like you were talking about our province, Mazandaran, discussing official corruption, lengthy temporary detentions, and delays in investigations. Since nobody in that province seems to listen to you but reads these open letters, I echoed your words here.

However, the rapid promotion of our prosecutor’s assistant briefly interrupted my discourse. We were discussing the cream of the crop among the Barareh characters, meaning those two intelligence agents. They came to assist the case fabricators, using their training to help prove the fabricated case. That spoilsport boy wasn’t much help and seemed more concerned about his own anxiety showing. But the other one, a 40-year-old man, is my concern. He became so agitated in response to one of the women’s question about what noticeable crime the police had observed that led to their arrest, that he ordered her to be leg-chained. Only through the mediation of the female prison guards was this prevented. He also told another woman he didn’t know about the first 24 hours and couldn’t discuss it. He had picked up the story in the middle and was tasked with writing the end!! Here we recall the villagers of Aghmashhad claiming that treasure hunting and smuggling of antiquities and cultural heritage were done in collaboration with the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Departments.

From the moment of their arrest, the women asked why the police had pursued them. First, they were told someone on-site had reported them, but gradually the story grew more nonsensical. The first proposition is true as those two tall and stout men had informed on them. But they saw that if this idea was introduced into the case, those men’s identities would be revealed. Therefore, when those women were interrogated in that undisclosed place, they were told that someone among them had contacted the police!! I had said they were nothing but a handful of inept agents from Barareh. But the peak of inept individuals answered this question, saying that one of the association members had contacted them from Tehran and tipped them off!!! He gave this answer to one woman and told another, “Our colleagues in the Ministry of Information in Tehran have reported this to us”! So, their colleagues, who are with the Freudian Association members all year round, are crippled and need to focus on those people on the 2 days they are in Mazandaran! Then he searched the Freudian Association website for the previously fabricated accusations to see what the “report” of the crippled related to, which those crippled individuals could not find!! Then he brought the “boogeyman” Intelligence Protection of the IRGC into it and told the women they would raid your office in Tehran. He said that the Intelligence Protection of the IRGC is not like them (meaning the Ministry of Intelligence) and is not accountable to anyone.

In the story goes, he, at the end of his heavily biased interrogation, asked the women to remove all non-psychoanalysis-related materials from the association’s website – as if he knew what was and wasn’t psychoanalysis on that website!! He continued that if not, the licenses for the website and the association would both be revoked. (All these matters are documented). The person in charge among the women responded that the website mostly contains Dr. Kadivar’s lectures and non-psychoanalysts are not in a position to determine a psychoanalyst’s education. Also, if this website doesn’t exist in its current form and structure, the Freudian Association’s NGO doesn’t need to continue, and they can revoke both licenses. This answer prompted the “boogeyman” of the Intelligence Protection of the IRGC to be inserted, as he understood he wasn’t in a position, as an interrogator, to dictate the actions of the Ministry of Interior’s Administrative office of NGOs.

It might be good for the honorable Minister of Intelligence to know how, despite the valuable services it provides, their department is viewed with such disfavor by citizens.
